NSA Mid-Career Research Award

The Nutrition Society of Australia Mid-Career Research Award is intended to encourage excellence in any area of animal or human nutrition. ‘Mid-career’ is defined as the 5-15 year period after being awarded a PhD.

Nominations for this award are due by 1 July 2022. 

Application criteria

The Mid-Career Research Award is awarded to NSA members who:

  • hold a PhD or equivalent higher degree, awarded 5-15 years prior to the closing date for applications
  • have demonstrated excellence in any area of nutrition consistent with the aims of the Society (the nominee’s contributions to the activities of the Society will also be considered)
  • have been financial members of the Society for the five years prior to nomination.

Please note: no more than one NSA Mid-Career Award may be conferred in any one year.
