Associated organisations

The Nutrition Society of Australia is proud to partner with the following organisations.

 


The Australian Nutrition Trust Fund (ANTF) supports a diverse range of activities important for the developing capacity in nutrition science in Australia. This includes several NSA awards, including early and mid-career travel grants, and other activities, such as the Oceanic Nutrition Leadership Platform (ONLP).

The Academy of Science National Committee for Nutrition (NCN) aims to foster nutritional science in Australia, to link the Academy to Australian nutritional scientists and relevant scientific and other societies, and to serve as a link with overseas nutritionists, primarily through the International Union of Nutritional Sciences (IUNS).

The Australian Society for Medical Research (ASMR) is the peak professional society representing Australian health and medical research. NSA is an affiliate member of ASMR.

 

 


The Nutrition Society of New Zealand (NSNZ) is a non-profit organisation dedicated to the support and advancement of nutrition as a scientific field in New Zealand. NSA and NSNZ hold joint Annual Scientific Meetings every three years.

The Oceanic Nutrition Leadership Platform (ONLP) is an initiative of NSA in partnership with the Nutrition Society of New Zealand and the Pacific islands. The aim of the ONLP is to develop, inspire and connect a new generation of innovative leaders with foresight and broad vision of the integrative role of nutrition, who are working in the field of nutrition throughout Oceanic countries.

Science and Technology Australia (STA) is Australia’s peak body in science and technology. A key aim of STA is to contribute to debate on public policy, providing a voice for its member societies. NSA is a member of STA as part of the Agriculture and Food Science cluster.
